OUR HISTORY
In Japan, during tea house ceremonies, a piece of cloth was soaked in hot water and offered to travelers who stopped to rest.
This piece of cloth was called Oshibori. Preserved over the centuries in Asia, Oshibori is still the most common gesture of welcome practiced today.
To simplify this gesture of welcome, the proposed garment became a simple wet cotton towel. In 2013, Franck SALAMA, during a trip to Japan in the Nagoya region, decided to give back to the Oshibori its noble letters.

OUR CONCEPT
Oshibori can be used hot, cold or simply at room temperature. Indeed, our towels can be put in their case a few seconds in the microwave, in the hot caby, in the oven or placed in the refrigerator a few hours before use.
Moreover, the waterproofness of the packaging of Oshibori Concept towels, guarantees a humidification over 24 months and brings a comfort worthy of a cosmetic product Made In France.

It is in a region with a high unemployment rate that Oshibori Concept™ sets up its production in Douai and partly employs disabled people. Oshibori Concept™ holds to the respect of the requirements of the European regulation 1223/2009 of cosmetic products, to the follow-up of commercial standards and to the quality of its productions, our Oshibori are certified ISO 22716 since April 2018 by Intertek.
The establishment of our "Made in France" factory has thus enabled us to automate the Oshibori production line with an unmatched manufacturing quality and a certified, confidential and protected know-how.
