  • Dermatological Test: What the Results of the Oshibori Concept Wipes Really Reveal

    Franck Salama

At Oshibori Concept, we often talk about quality. But here, we wanted to take it a step further: to measure it.

Our white tea-scented wipes were evaluated as part of a dermatologically controlled cosmetic use test* conducted by the independent laboratory COSMEPAR.

    How was the test conducted?

The study was conducted on 21 people, more than half of whom had sensitive skin (52%).

For a month, they used the pads under real-life conditions as part of their daily routines.

The goal was simple: to understand how the skin reacts and what users actually feel.

    What Skin Tolerance Tells Us

On this point, the results are very clear:

    • All participants tolerated the product well
    • No cases of irritation were observed
    • No discontinuations of use have been reported
    • The skin remained soft after use for the entire panel
    • No drying out has been reported

Even in individuals with sensitive skin, tolerance remained consistent.

    How Users Felt

Beyond the numbers, there’s also the immediate experience—the one that really matters in real-world use.

    • A sensation of freshness felt immediately upon application (95%)
    • A white tea fragrance considered pleasant and well-balanced (95%)
    • Skin that feels hydrated after use (95%)
    • No sticky feeling or residue (95%)
    • A towel considered durable and reliable over time (100%)

    What These Results Tell Us

Taken together, these results tell us something quite simple: the product works well under real-world conditions across a variety of scenarios.

It is this balance between safety, comfort, and user experience that makes it suitable for use in demanding environments, where every detail counts.
